As a Kidd, fan, wouldn't mind seeing him team up with LBJ this year or next........IF Thorn feels there's nothing to play for with the current group.

Getting him to Cleveland would take tons of creativity. There isn't much on that team that would interest Thorn. 3 first rounders, Gibson. Still have Varejao out there, GSW has a 10 million trade exception in which you can involve to make it a 3 way deal. Biedrins is due for a big contract and has recently played himself out of the starting lineup. Pietrus is another trade asset, in the final year of his deal. Cleveland could send Varejao and Snow's final salary to GSW, NJ would get Pietrus and Biedrins, Gibson, 3 firsts, a contract like Z's and maybe Hughes. Yea Clevelands a dream. Dallas has tradeable assets in Howard, Harris or Terry. Lakers if they're willing to move Bynum. Orlando, maybe someone to look at. But we're a ways a way from even discussing this......this stuff always comes out after a loss.

Not to compound Kidd and NJ breaking up, but here's a piece about him complaining about the attenance:

QUOTE

Dave D’Alessandro, recapping the Nets loss, adds another factor beyond jet lag and poor perimeter defense: lagging attendance. He notes Jason Kidd’s post-game comment about the lack of an audience, then lets loose: “Think about it: They’re coming back from a 3-1 road trip, riding high, feeling juiced by the possibilities again … and then fewer than 12 thou show up to watch”. Their attitude: “What’s the use?” Both Lawrence Frank and Richard Jefferson deny that attendance is a factor in the team’s 3-6 record at the IZOD Center

We can try to trade Kidd. with Carter and RJ are still in this team, we just need a pure shooter in the PG position, and Marcus could still make every bench player better by his passing ability.

We shouldtry toget a good big for this team by a Kidd trade, this team might be better.

For example, Gibson, Carter, Jefferson, J'Oneal.

Not true, he didn't start vs Phoenix, due to the matchup, and even though didn't start tonight against Sac-town, still got 30 minutes and produced, I expect himself back in the starting lineup very soon. He's putting up comparable (better) numbers than last year, so he hasn't played himself out of anything.

Get used to it, you'll see plenty of over-reaction and ridiculousness throughout the season.

JKidd needs to go work on his jumpshot before blaming everyone else for a crappy start to the season. he's had some pretty dumb turnovers, he deserves as much blame as the other players. It's no one's fault that all our bigmen outside of sean get outmuscled, burned and dominated by guards and bigs.

Lol what happened to playing with Kobe Jason. Who is it going to be tomorrow, Duncan, KG?

Bron is undeniably a better player than Vince, but really is he better than RJ and Vince, especially when RJ is having a career year.

So this team needs fans at the game to get victories now? I know it sucks playing to such small crowds and that there are benefits to having a real nice and loud home field advantage but come on. That's this team being mad that they lost and playing the blame game. The fans have nothing to do with our poor defensive rotations and stupid turnovers. Reaity check time, they get paid millions and millions of dollars to play a game, that whole locker room should shut the F up and play better.

true story. It's getting really LAME. I've never seen so much drama-queen style overreaction to 15 games. RELAX ppl...we still have marcus coming back, we still have nenad coming back fully recovered (i hope). The beginning of the season is all about getting your rotations straight and ur offensive and defensive plays correct, it's OBVIOUSLY going to be a learning experience.

and I agree with Farouq - Kidd really needs to take a look at how he's been playing as well, all these stupid TO's that kill us night in and out and disrupt the flow of the game...

So Bron is good for 43ppg and 14-15 rpg, and this is with Vince struggling to put up points. He kills both players in assists, but if playing with Kidd I expect his assists numbers to go down. And lets not forget about the FTs both Vince and RJ generate for the team. Does Kidd think if he is traded to the Cavs, the Nets wont get anything significant in return. The Nets are going to be better off

43 and 15? wtf are you even talking about. You are looking at it from a statistical point of view, which would be fine if we are playing fantasy basketball, but isn't the case.
