Um, Kidd for those three doesnt even work financially. Mavs would need to add another big contract to even make it work.

I will say that I wouldn't be surprised to see us actually improve in the standings if we made that trade...defensively we'd still be bad but I think we would score alot more than we do now.
the nets dont want a superstar or another good player in return. they want picks and expiring contracts. Theres no point in trying to replace kid with another star...this team has already proven that they cant win even with one of the best PGs ever. They need to blow it out and go into full rebuilding mode.

Some bulls fans would love to get rid of Noc just so they could afford Deng and Gordon.

Getting rid of Allen...check. Getting young talent [at PG (Crittenton)]...check. Getting a starter (Odom, who has a good chance at doing well out of the limelight in LA)....check. Expiring contracts...check. Sounds good to me. If we could get Ariza, that'd be nice. Just wishful thinking there, tho. I'd say that's a fair deal, and much better than the Dallas trade.
I don't know about Ariza, but keep in mind that next season, Lamar will have a 14-15 million dollar expiring contract. You can have his contract, and Collins contract off the books next season. The Nets would be in great position to lure in free agents.
