That picture is from the 14th, the day he disappeared. No pictures or footage have accompanied the claim of his re-emergence. North Korea has to try better than that.

Good question. There may not be a clear succession plan. His kids are too young. His only living brother is a boy bender. His uncle is old and retired and his sister who seems to be the inherent successor may not be allowed to be. I could see North Korea trying to keep things quiet while they figure things out, to keep the people in line, to stop South Korea from invading, to stop China from taking over the country, etc Though China seems to know what is up and has people on the ground. South Korea seems to be basing their assumptions of Kim's status on where his train is. There is something going down over there
I find it interesting that Trump said he knew Kim's status, but couldn't tell us. If he in fact really knew Kim's status, why wouldn't he able to tell us if Kim was fine. It seems the only reason he wouldn't tell us, is if something was wrong.
