<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ianmar9:</div><div class="quote_post">haha the Kings got straight cheated in game 6 in 2001-2002 and all you Laker fans know it.</div> Haha, kinda like in game 5 when the Queens got all the calls. Shaq fouled out and only shot 1 free throw. Are you telling me Shaq only got fouled once?! That's ridiculous! Nice illegal screen by C-webb to free up Bibby to make the game winner. You Kings fans look for every excuse even though your fans poisoned Kobe and oh, maybe next time Peja won't airball in game 7 at home.
Blah this is they way I see it I know this thread is old but think about what happend in game 6 with the Spurs.. He who laughs last laughs the hardest, so the Lakers cheated and they got it in their behind you know I was happy when it happend. Even helpin the Lakers out couldnt stop Duncan Yes I do think the Kings have a legitimate chance who gives a rats behind who the Lakers have? Ill put it to you like this Malone, Payton and Shaq can all get themselvs into an Injury that will put the Lakers in the lottery..and if you say that will never happen you're wrong.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deestillballin:</div><div class="quote_post"> Even helpin the Lakers out couldnt stop Duncan </div> Riiiiiiightt.... It's kinda fishy how the game 6 started at an early 5p.m. California time...people hadn't even got off work. The arena was pretty much silent.. Oh yeah, the refs helped Shaq alot...he picked up tons of offensive fouls when Duncan does the same stuff..that's fine if you call fouls on Shaq, as long as you call it both ways and actually hit Mr.Golden Boy MVP Duncan with a foul... BTW- The Sp*rs averaged 9 more free-throw attempts per game than their oppenents in the playoffs! Ahhh, too bad the Spurs will get dethroned in 2004
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting the MDE:</div><div class="quote_post"> Ahhh, too bad the Spurs will get dethroned in 2004 </div> Who cares I dont like the Lakers or the Spurs thats why I said in that series they could screw themselves for all I cared.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NickfromKSF:</div><div class="quote_post">You are forgetting that Malone is 40 and Payton is 38, both of them are considered to be way past the prime of their careers and the best thing that Malone could do for them is come off the bench, he can't play 40+ minutes anymore and Payton put up nothing but bricks in the playoffs last year, in closing the Kings have a better shot than they ever had coming into this season, especially since Kobe will be charged with rape because all evidence points that way according to various news sources. Which is not too good for him, What has happened to the credibility of the NBA this off season Everybody is getting arrested.</div> Malone is 40 yes but Payton is 35.
...2002 was their best chance...too bad though... But i htink Sac Town has a chance to go pretty far in this years playoffs...Divison Finals...dunno...maybe?
I am a true Kings fan (unlike many of those posers) but I know that we won't win the Ship. It's the Lakers yr................ again and if they choke Dallas with surely take it from them! We all updated in the offseason but the Lakers and the Mavs got the better of us this time! Don't worry fellow kings fans, just sit back, relax, and watch Gerald mature as a player after gettin all those mins this yr.
