We need the Warriors to beat up on those below us. That’s too bad.

We'd do well to get to 52 wins by the end of the season, which ties them right now. They'd have to lose every game for the rest of the regular season. And/or we'd have to win every game. Houston has had to win 22 of their last 24 just to stay in front of them. It's not happening. I do get a kick out of your ridiculous optimism though. I'm just hoping we can hang on to the 4 seed and get home court in the first round.

Their win against the Lakers last night is a big blow to our 2 seed chances. We need them to lose and lose often. Well, time to beat the Cavs!!! I never want to lose again!

We are not in any sort of a fight for 2nd seed.

Maybe they'll start to rest Durant too since they don't think they can get 1 seed. We can sneak up on them. We have the tie breaker!

They are 10 games better in the loss column and have 14 games to play. They realistically need to lose them all and finish 52-30 for Portland to have a realistic chance of catching them. If they lose 12 of them and finish 54-28, Portland would need to finish the season 13-2 which would be incredibly hard already. Safe to say we won't be going 15-0 from now but even then, Warriors would need just 5 more wins to be above us a anyway.

Yep, GSW's magic number to clinch the 2nd seed is five. The ONLY teams the need to beat are PHO (3x) and SAC (2x). They can lose to everyone else, and POR can win all of their remaining games to finish the season on a 25 game winning streak, and GSW would STILL own the 2nd seed.

They beat the Lakers rather easily tonight without Stephen, Klay, Draymond and David West. Even missing 3 of their 4 all stars they can easily beat the likes of SAC and PHO. We're not sneaking up on them. There is no race for the 2nd seed.

Their last game they started Durant, Pachulia, Young, Cook and Looney. Sounds more like an amateur improv team than an NBA squad.

Nothing would please me more than to see Durant and LaMarcus have shockingly disappointing seasons because the teams they bandwagoned fell apart.

It sounds like a team you build in some fantasy mode in 2K. You spend all the cash you have on Durant and then fill out the rest of the roster with whoever costs little or nothing.

They could play their last five guys on the bench the rest of the way and still win 4 more games. 2nd Seed is not in play.

And sat out Curry, Thompson, Green, and West. Still beat the Lakers by 11 easily. These injuries are exactly what the warriors need. Or should i say want. They will rest everyone for the next month on a rotating basis. Win the games they choose and then bring em all back for the last couple tune up games. Kerr knows exactly what he is doing.
