Why do people hate Nick Cannon so much? I'm really indifferent to the guy.

There's not really a lot of people I would boo... but come on, you're comparing Nick Cannon to Justin Bieber? When was the last time Nick Cannon got arrested or fucked a bunch of hookers? They're not even close to the same type of person. I put Cannon in the same realm as a Carson Daily. I don't really enjoy watching them because I think they're fake, but I don't really care much about them either.
 
I think it is hilarious that they tried to get the NYK crowd in on this stupid gimmick. Nick Young throws a basketball over his head and they want the crowd to pretend like it went in and go crazy . . . personally I loved the crowd reaction, made me laugh.

I wonder what a Moda Center crowd would do with that situation . . . kind of reminds me of wanting the crowd to chant Mic-ee-Dee and the crowd instead would chant chalupa.

Nick Cannon is in the douche category. Not as deeply entrenched as the Biebs, but he's safely there.

I wouldn't boo Nick Cannon (about the only thing I would boo at a sporting event would be the refs/umps/officials, the Dodgers, and the Lakers). It's kinda lame. But if I were going to start booing celebs, Cannon would potentially invoke a boo here or there. And I don't think there are many that I'd boo.

I think I respect the fact that the guy really isn't that talented and yet he's been able to carve out a niche for himself. Good for him I guess. Bieber on the other hand is actually really talented, but he's destined to throw it all away on a pile of hookers and drugs. I suspect he'll flame out within two or three years tops.

Let's make it clear - I wasn't defending Biebs. Just sayin' a douche is a douche.

Believe me, good for either for making their money. But they're both garbage in my eyes.
 
That could have been Nick Cannon, Ryan Seacrest or Oprah . . . the crowd would have done the same thing.

Cannon is most definitely a tool. Biebs is a douche. There's a huge difference :devilwink:

Nick Cannon was on my NBAE League team. He showed up to one game and hit a couple threes. We didn't become friends or anything. I like him on America's Got Talent.
