I must say, I am very disappointed in Carmelo for his role in the fight. He had everything going well for him this season. People were actually starting to notice how good of a player he really is. If Melo is still under the radar when he comes back it will be his own fault.

I am very sarcastic, but you wouldn't know that because you never post here. And to prove I am not "back peddling". YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY
I guess I don't get why people are calling it a "sucker punch". Melo looked him right in the eye and then punched him. When there are 2 guys in a heated argument, staring into each others eyes while teammates are fighting, you should be prepared to fight too. It wasn't a sucker punch, so people need to stop referring to it like that.
Delonte and D-Rob. I think you guys got what you need to say in, If not feel free to send a PM to each other. Let's get back on topic though.
you know what, I really think isiah sent collins out there on a mission to be quite honest. I never saw isiah play because I was like 5 but so many people say that he was a dirty player. bad boys ring a bell? I think he sent collins out there to make a point to the team. that may sound stupid to some of you but I think he wanted a guy who he knew was a good defender as well as a tough minded player. isiah has been quoted without hesitation that collins is their best defender. anyway, my point is I think he wanted the knicks to be aggressive. he wanted them to not back down from anyone. I don't think this was the right way to do that though but isiah might've thought different. with the foul, it was a flagrant no question about that but I think it's good to see some actual aggression in the guys. I think it was just them letting out all of their frustrations for such a pathetic season. I think the team will be closer after this fight. melo is a coward. I know he was trying to stay out of more trouble by running away but he threw a cheap sucker punch on collins. he's already and deep sh*t. man up, don't run away. damn, nate I give him props. he doesn't back down from anyone. he took smith out. he used his cornerback skills and tackled that fool. he had collins' back. he's a tough dude even tho everyone calls him a punk. he's not afraid of anyone. fearless. he'll grow out of his kid ways.I don't agree with how this situation was handled, if this was isiah's idea of being more aggressive, but I think this is going to help them. the brawls with the heat were something to remember. those guys were tough, spree, oakley etc. these guys were not afraid of anyone. it was good to see players show some aggression. the knicks are a soft team because they suck at defense. so even tho fighting is unprofessional, you live you learn. these guys are gonna learn from what happened tonight.

Haha.</div>ugh.......I dont mean to continue this any longer but I guarentee you werent an early member on the ORIGINAL bbw created during the hoops city era when balla was an admin and then basically left for bbw, thats where it started. Eventually HC fell apart and BBW stepped up. I was there the whole time I doubt you were cause I dont think you would bring up member number if you knew about it........EDIT: sorry tony I'm done now lol

I just heard on ESPN that Isiah Thomas gave Carmelo Anthony a warning not to go into the paint a few minutes before the fight happened. Was the flagrant foul on purpose?<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>EDIT: sorry tony I'm done now lol</div>It's no biggie, I know things can get heated.

And wouldnt you think some of the other posts in the topic would lose credibility? I dont know why your trying to start something with me but get over it.OFFICIALLY DONE PM ME IF YOU WANNA bi*ch SOMEMORE
Yeah Isiah and Nate Robinson, from the interviews, are basically saying that the Nuggets were disrespecting their team because Melo/Camby/JR were in the game when they were winning by so much with 1 minute left. Then ESPN says Isiah may have warned Melo not to come in the paint? So, Isiah, because you coach a piss-poor team/organization, and because you are getting blown out on your home floor with their starters still in the game... that gives you the right to flagrantly foul their players? That makes it ok because you guys are getting killed? Idiot.EDIT: This wouldn't be a first for Isiah doing this on purpose. Remember when he told his players to hurt Bowen after Francis landed on his foot?

Isiah just has all around bad management skills. He handled this situation horribly. Saying Camby and Melo shouldn't have been in the game, idiot.
