I'm not a Lakers fan...but that was simply the most awesome thing i have ever seen on a basketball court...i bet he wishes he could play the Raptors everyday

Alright..you guys are right, the verb I used (you surely know what I'm talking about) to assess how I was going to break down his statement was out of line, and I obviously didn't realize he was joking so my fault.

 

Man I fricken missed the game!!!! Of all the games I missed this year. I watched every laker game except for this one just because I moved houses and I had no cable yet. When I arrived at Riverside, my friends told me news about this game. I was completely shocked. Lucky for those that missed the game, they are reshowing it tommorow at 12pm on Fox Sport Net. I gotta say Kobe is Unbelieveable. MVP!

haha. Seems alot of haters joined the Kobe bandwagon. Us Kobe fans since day one are in awe at the amount of love we've been getting about our favorite Laker player.

There are still the haters though. I went to a board where the bashing went on on how he ball hogged his way to 81. What a joke.

 

I Get home, jump on the computer and go to nba.com to see how my lakers did and then i see it. My mouth drops and i try to scream for joy, but nothing comes out. i literally throw the chair out from under me and run out of my house screaming and shouting, EIGHTY ONE, EIGHTY ONE, EIGHTY ONE??? EIGHTY ONE!!!! I run back inside and there is my mum and she thinks ive gone completely insane. EIGHTY ONE! KOBE GOT EIGHTY ONE POINTS IN ONE F***'N GAME!!!!

Then it came to me, JBB.com, all those haters.....now with no way out.HAHA

I hadn't noticed Kobe's stats for the month until this game, but this is just monsterous..

u guys think that they will replay the game on espn classic? Cause i gotta get that on tape! If that aint instant classic i dont know what is.

 

This was a classic, and thanks to league pass, i got to watch this once in a life time performance. I think this has to be the greatest individual performance of all time, and better than Wilt's 100 'coz of the new defense rules. I dont think Wilt would've scored 100 in this era.

Too bad Kobe passed the last shot to Sasha, else he could've ended up with 84 something.

 

I personally believe Kobe can go even better than this. Kobe is the king. When I went online to check the result of the game, I saw something like "Kobe is the 80's" or something. To be honest, I wasn't actually suprised, which is weird because I was shocked when he dropped 62. He just raised the bar with his 81. It makes everyone elses 60 point games look like standard games. Kobe>All

 

What a crazy season it has been, from a scoring standpoint. I can't remember the last time there were this many 50+ point games in one year. And now, this? Unbelievable.

 

its the rule changes dude the game is soft thats why there are all these 50 point performances. u cant touch the offencive player in any way. but its still 80 and u cant take it away.
