Carmelo had a mediocore year? Are you nuts? He had one hell of a year. Especially in the second half, he turned it up a notch. He's still a young kid, he'll struggle in the play offs.
Their probably going to go with lebron, but check it out if they do 2005:Carmelo 2006:Wade 2007:LeBron? 2003 draft representing.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What you're referring to is the Madden jinx, I believe the past 5 years, the players on the cover have been injured that same year they were on.</div> There are a lot of cover jinxes. SLAM has been known for having players on the cover right before they get traded (Steve Francis, Gary Payton, etc). <div class="quote_poster">Quoting YourNewChef:</div><div class="quote_post">He was awful in the playoffs, and that's what matters most.</div> Yeah he was, but don't judge his whole year based on that.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YourNewChef:</div><div class="quote_post">I totally agree, 2k makes a superior game.</div> I own both games and its a definite toss up because both have some really crappy graphics in some areas, gameplay wise 2K is awkward sometimes as you can just spot up for a windmill dunk with KG on Shaq, Live has a terrible choice of freestyle superstars as Larry Hughes has scorer but not the steal one, and on Live freestyle can be abused big time in online play(spamming the freestyle steal as soon as you inbound the ball ) . I mean they both have ups and downs but since the 2K series has been bought out I think it would be nice if they kind of "combine" the two. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LeBron? He has everything EA would want. A huge bandwagon, shoe sails, die hard fans...we're all "witnesses." He has the best shot at the cover.</div> , pretty ironic. Anyway I could careless who is on the cover as long as the game is good.
