I'm not comparing Kobe's playoffs to LeBron's. I'm just saying, Detroit isn't easy.</div>Not trying to downplay what Bron did, but anyone who didn't think the Cavs had a chance was an idiot. They pushed the Pistons to 7 games last year when the Pistons were stronger.

But no one acted like it, freaking Reggie Miller said "Detroit Is going to win this series" Right after we tied it up. Some people still said Detroit was going to win the series in 7 after we took game 5.

And that team went 15-1. I know having Shaq gave Kobe a huge advantage but it's also hard to ignore just how dominant Kobe was.If you want some video of Kobe at 22.http://youtube.com/watch?v=mJyrWLtovOshttp://youtube.com/watch?v=vb5eifJpD-Q

Another idiot making a thread trying to compare players now in the NBA to Kobe Bryant...LeBron will NEVER be close to what Kobe is, period.

He'd led a team to the Finals, regardless of who he played, and he's putting up great stats, not just scoring, but all-around. If you compare Kobe when he was 22 (LeBron's age), to Lebron's stats now, they are nearly identical, so how can you sit there and say LeBron will never be as good as Kobe? Yes, Kobe has 3 rings to LeBron's 0, but LeBron doesn't have the most dominant big man of his era downlow. Shaq was the main reason the Lakers won 3 championships, and his 3 MVP Final awards can back it up. Right now, yes, Kobe is better, but saying LeBron isn't close, or never will be close to Kobe is pure ignorance and homerism.
