A healthy Shaq combined with Kobe are good enough to be champions. A healthy Vlade, Grant AND Mihm combined with Kobe still aren't considered title contenders. The big fella made the Lakers legit contenders but his time was up and Kobe is getting a fresh chance. It's his time to shine and eventually, he will pull out of the rubble. Right now, the Lakers would most likely have a better record WITH Shaq and everyone who posts in here knows it. However, you can't assume the Lakers won't do good this season based strictly on thier 9 or so games so far.
