    From what I understand, Kobe was benched much of the 4th. Phil should have kept him in the ballgame.

    I think the way Kobe is playing now is best for his team getting wins. If he started playing like 2 or 3 years ago, i don't think the Lakers would be as good, but he would have better individual stats.

    I actually think he is playing some of the best ball of his career right now, because he is doing what it takes to get his team the W, and that matters more than stats. You can tell he has matured.

    Agreed. He's figured out how to balance his offense and go on the attack when necessary.
