Feel free to quote where I typed that KingSpeed was not allowed to post his opinion, or where I personally attacked him. ;)

Mainly I guess the chant made us look very "little brother" which was also embarrassing I guess

Just that its ironic or unfortunate that he has the opinion he shared. No biggie you keep doing your thing

I don't enjoy "hero ball" for 48 minutes, but that's unrelated to my opinion of his lack of class.

Of course but I blame the stupid NBA for this and not the fans. Going to NBA is just not as fun as it should be, I hate buying better seats than someone then being told I need to sit down. I hate getting in trouble for cussing about poor play, poor calls, or just cursing in general cause it is more fun to do in public.

See if the NBA allowed good chants and people to be passionate at their games you would have heard "Fuck You Boston" instead and then the world would know those fans hate Boston and they are awesome for cursing.

Most def entitled to that opinion. I just decided to give in and respect the warrior he is on the court. Him ripping my heart out a billion times did that to me.

I don't wish to get into why the original post is either unfortunate or ironic, but it's definitely not a personal attack. You either get it or you don't. It doesn't make anyone stupid for not getting it. It's just my opinion on the post. To each their own.

I enjoy more of an original chant if it involves cursing and calling out another team. I.e. timbers chant "we are the Timbers and we are the best, we are the Timbers so F*** all the rest! F***em all F*** em all! Vancouver, Seattle Montreal!" Repeat all

I want Kobe to suck. I need him to suck! The sad truth about Kobe Bryant is that he only had 3 seasons where he had a PER that was >25. He's always been a high-volume/USG player who was never in MJs or LBJs league as a player. A hard worker, sure, and he got the most out of his relatively limited talents with his a-hole demeanor and flat out "I don't give a shit!" goofiness.

I was being tongue-in-cheek about Laker fans being uneducated. They are all uneducated, and some of their 'celebrity' fans are now going to Clipper games.

What was Boston's anti-LA chant for many years? "BEAT LA! BEAT LA!" That's pretty cool, on point, and makes sense without looking stupid.

You didn't, just clarifying. You did imply I was suggesting he isn't allowed to post, which I didn't. I may not understand why, but that doesn't mean I'm saying he can't.

Problem is they do not allow beautiful chants like that at the Moda Center

this thread is pathetic. Kobe Bryant is an amazing basketball player. Hating him because he is a laker is funny and juvenile. As a basketball fan he is a joy to watch.

Regardless of what has happened in the past (don't want to get into my thoughts on the chick he "raped"), this was a classy move by Kobe. And for Kobe to have singled out Damian Lillard as a guy who deserves to be in the All Star game, makes me like him more.

This thread is pathetic because it should have been merged into the All-Star Starter thread. Lots of love for Bryant in that thread for making the decision to sit out the AS game because he didn't deserve it this season. Even more props to him because of what he said about Lillard a few weeks ago. Bryant wasn't seeking votes, and wanted fans to vote for players who deserved it based on this year. I respect the hell out of that decision. Kobe's turned into a good ambassador for the NBA, and is a veteran player who gets it.

So classy for a guy that can't play to sit out of a game he wouldn't play in even if he suited up for the game. So classy. lol

How many injured players at his level have gone on record while votes are still being cast to basically say 'don't vote for me?'
