exsqueeze me? He was injured December 19th with a timeline of being out 6 weeks. The all star game is Feb 16th. Do the math. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/...-angeles-lakers-likely-six-weeks-injured-knee Then a recent article came out saying his return is up in the air, but that he would likely return before the all star game. http://www.lakersnation.com/kobe-bryant-injury-update-timetable-is-up-in-the-air/2014/01/20/
If Kobe was really a classy guy he would let me take his place in the all star game. I clearly deserve it.
I did the math. He's played 6 games this season. He's not playing now. 9 games till the All-Star break - 7 games if you accept "6 weeks" as a definitive return date. You think he's sitting out because other's or more deserving, not because he's resolved to sit out because he's out of shape and would look terrible against the league's best? It's not a "classy" move, it's a "reality" move if not a "me" move. And I tend to believe it's more of a "me" move from a guy that cheated on his wife. The guy is literally making up excuses that the league would force him to sit out 2 regular season games if he chose to suit up but DNP. He's sitting out because he won't be able to compete, not out of any degree of "class."
Really cause he cheated on his wife, I would venture to guess that at least one of the current Blazers have cheated on their wives while on the road as well.
Talk about insult to injury. How can that **** think that's funny? And how can anyone think that's the actual victim?
I dislike Kobe, but I want him back soon. Lakers are slipping closer and closer towards a potential #1 pick. I am rooting for them every night out for the rest of the season. (except against us) Get well soon mamba.
If Kobe comes back before the all-star game... he will have to play... it isn't a on opt-out thing. Unless he is injured they will make him show up.
Again, get over yourself. You're whole schtick is to continue to troll people, like you did Eric originally. And when people call you out (in your eyes "forum police") you get all defensive and start throwing insults or saying were all misogynists, women haters, bigots, etc, etc . Again, you basically started the insults when I told you to stop beating a dead horse. Rather than saying "stay classy" because I don't agree with your views on Kobe, you could have argued your case more in terms of comparing his classiness vs his past "criminal" history, and then provided arguments on why you're not beating a dead horse and why its important to remember he did what he did. See you need to argue the post, and not attack the poster. But whatever, you haven't learned that yet and you never probably will. So carry on with your schtick. Just understand that if you're going to play, get some thicker skin.
He is injured, and he certainly doesn't have to play in the game. I'm quite sure he can say he needs the rest. He'll show up, but he won't be in uniform. He'll be announced in the introductions, too.
"Man in the mirror" is playing in the background. Take it to heart, "take a look at yourself and then make that.... change." Sha-na-na, sha-na-na...
Funny how posters spend so much more time talking about each other than basketball sometimes....baffles the mind! We just won our 33rd game against one of my least favorite teams in the world folks! Should be group hug season around here if you ask me. I'm starting to wonder if the word troll is being used so much it's beginning to have no meaning at all...(ok, go ahead, call me one!)
