First of all, you made a couple criticisms about Kobe that were very true like not being consistent within the system offense, jacking up bad shots & took his teammates out of the game, and not efficient all around (compare to Wade, Lebron, Kidd, KG, etc). Those are some of negative aspects on Kobe?s games that I agreed with you. Like you, I also don?t hate Nash, especially not his personality. He?s a cool guy in my opinion. But I admit I do dislike him a bit because quite honestly, I am jealous that the media tend to give him all the credits for the Suns? success when actually guys like Marion, Barbosa, and Stourdemire should also deserve ?some?. I think he?s a phenomenon player, and probably going to be a hall of famer someday. IMO his biggest, scariest asset on offense is not his ability to pass, but his ability to shoot the ball. He?s a light out shooter. He shot over 50%, 40% at the 3, 90% at the line, and is one of the best pure shooters in the game today. Though, you have to admit to yourself, Nash played at this elite level for only 3 years. Before he is a Mavs, he was a ?nobody? during the old Phoenix Suns? era. Before he arrived as a new Suns? member, he was ?just like any other all-stars? that got the reputation of being a ?wild passer?. Then you look at Kobe, for what he had done over the past 7 years. During the Lakers? dynasty, Kobe was already perceived to be one of the best all around player, averaging around 29ppg, 7rpg, 6apg, 2spg, and a block per game. It is clearly who?s the better all around player, not only today but throughout their career, it?s Kobe! If your criterion is all around, then how the heck Nash?s better than not Kobe, but Jason Kidd? He led the league in triple double. If your criterion is team player, then KG imo is the best. He?s the ultimate definition of a team player. Everything ran through him, their plays? set, high post, low post, defensive scheme, everything. The only misfortunate about KG is that he doesn?t have enough talents like Nash to be successful in term of winning and being a contender. And speaking of Nash?s success within his team records, well all I can say is you can?t turn crap into gold. It is just not going to happen. Nobody can take a bunch of crappy talents and expect him to carry them to compete for a championship. You obviously have your own perception of who?s the best. But like I said before, don?t be blind with the truth and don?t let your personal feeling get in the way with your logical thinking. I?m a Kobe?s fan, and some of the things I said might favor Kobe obviously. But quite honestly, there were times I questioned myself whether Kobe should actually be the best player or D-Wade. In term of efficiency, D-Wade is unbelievable. However ask yourself, what did D-wade do that Kobe can?t do and what Kobe can do that D-Wade can?t. The answer is pretty obvious, ?shooting range?. Everything D-Wade does, Kobe can probably does the same. If Phil wants Kobe to average 20/10/7, he?s going to do whatever it takes to accomplish his coach?s demand. His effort, his determination, his game should be something that you should focus on and not something outside of basketball like his personality or any craps about what he did in his personal life. Whose give a crap if he?s cocky, arrogant, unsportmanship or cold blooded. What matter is his basketball talent, his thrive to success as a basketball player. Wade's offensive production is impressive; though his game would suffer the most ten years ago.

Everybody has their own opinion as to who the best. Both sides have their point of view, so neither sides are correct. I like to listen to the unbias basketball fan and hear them pick who they think is the best. I think that will be a fair judgement for both sides. Let's just enjoy both player, Nash and Kobe. Both are amazing player. Kobe just scored 60 points today!
