My personal preference would be to send our most athletic players, who can create their own shots, defense would not be a priority. I'd like to see how a team would handle this arsenal of players... PG - Kidd his role is to pass, pass, pass and defense SG - Kobe SF - T-Mac PF - Lebron James C - KG I would play a box and 1 defense because most of the teams only have 1 consistent player. This team will be running, gunning, and slamming.
yeah i hope AI and Steph have squashed their beef. i forgot they even had a beef and how it all started, but hopefully the selection committee takes one of the 2 suns, if not both.

yeah jefferson and collison are two of the worst choices of all time. and bibby is another horrible choice. it's a disgrace pierce wasn't invited back, he was the only guy in the summer games who was playing hard and contributing consistantly.
It is a disgrace Pierce wasnt invited back. a total insult. people said he played selfish in the summer games but that isnt true. in reality he was the only one who played like he wanted to win. No dream team can be called a dream team without him and with the likes of bibby, jefferson
collison and jefferson were bad picks if you wanted someone athetic amarie, martin countless numbers of players other than jeff... but i seriously doubt pierce will not be invited, he has to!

That's how I already like seeing the team, as much as Kobe is talented, you've got to admit Ray Allen has great talents too!

Tim Duncan has been selected...can you imagine the trio for defence of Ben Wallace,Tim Duncan,Kevin Garnett :shock: i wish KG would say he wants in...that would be a sick trio...who could score past 80 points against these guys? Also pierce wasn't invited because they said he had a really bad attuide at the worlds and was being a ball hog also did not get on with his team-mates.....that style of play wouldn't work with larry brown. As for ray allen? he will likely not play alot but go in there and shoot the threes.....with kidd getting him the ball..
i say, put melo on the team, not lbj or collison, i agree with shape's substitutions, except, put melo instead of collison or lbj, since i think it has to be a college player. i think they make the college player, the best senior :? , because last year jay williams, and this year collison. franchise deserves to be on the team, same with starbury, instead of rj and bibby.

No doubt he is a good player that deserves to be there..just they said he didn't get on with his team-mates..karl and the coaching staff stated this ages ago.... but who knows really....
yea but the other players wouldnt have admitted that he was the only one who came to play. he was getting on his teammates for not putting in the appropriate effort like a good leader should do. did u whatch the games. the other guys just wernt focused like pierce. hes always been known as one of the good guys easy to get along with.
Yeah i did watch the games..pierce had to do too much.Only really him and finley turned up...JO was a non-factor..along with brand Was a shocking world championships in all... can't believe we finished 6th :-x
exactly my point. you really think they wouldve finished so bad if everyone on that team had wanted it as bad as pierce and finley. if naything they shouold get invites to the olympics just as rewards for having to deal with that
They just didn't have the right mix of players....kidd pulling out..along with allen didn't help though
