What the hell does "Kobe pulled off a Lebron" even mean? For a Kobe fan, I'm surprised you haven't realized that you're actually bigging up Lebron with that statement.
hey,(thedream)we talking about individual players, the reason you can be more dominating in defense than in the offense is because all 5 players has to defend well in order to be sucessfull.and in the offense, one guy can be the diferrence in most nights.thats why a guy like Kobe can be that dominitating every single night in the defensive side. ah! and another thing being a good scorer doensnt mean you dont have to play defence. its simple!

I love the fact that you called what Kobe did a "Lebron." Seems like you unintentionally praised James more than Bryant.
On this thread there are two extremes. A Kobe fanboy, and alot of people that come across as haters. I wouldn't say LeBron is as complete as Kobe yet, I mean anyone that say's that is doubting themselves. Perhaps in the future he may be better than Kobe but as for right now, Kobe is better than LeBron. It's a stupid thread anyway, we've had a thousand of these here. Every week it's Kobe vs LeBron, Kobe vs Wade, Kobe vs Jordan, Kobe vs Iverson, Kobe vs McGrady. Why does this happen every week and why is it always Kobe vs "X"?
Before I say what I have to say I just need to get some clarification. Isn't going into another teams forum, and making a thread completely irrelevant to that team, gloating about another player, borderline baiting? Any how, I believe LeBron James has a more rounded game offensively (points, rebounds, and assists) than Kobe Bryant. However, I do believe that at this point Kobe Bryant is still the better scorer of the two, and the better player overall. What people seem to forget however when comparing the two is how young LeBron is when comparing him to Kobe Bryant. The two are already close at this point, and LeBron is what six years younger than Kobe? Imagine how good he will be when he reaches Kobe's age?

The whole "player comparison" thing is getting kind of old guys. I for one don't really care who is better between Lebron and Kobe anymore. I'm just thankful that I can be alive during an era in basketball when such great talent is present. Both those guys can do things that other players can only dream of doing, but why state the obvious?
Kobe is a more polished version of Lebron who plays more like a guard. Lebron will be better, but I'm not sure he's reached that point yet.
Last season: Kobe > LeBron. I have to wait atleast til' the half of the season is over. Can't say sh*t before that. Kobe has came out of a injury. And he doesn't have to pull 40 every game to get the W anymore. And that's good for him and the team (of course).
