<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Melo061 @ Sep 8 2006, 02:10 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>It's a small sample size but Carmelo in his rookie season troubled kobe much more then Lebron does. Again, kobe has problems WITH post up swingman who are bigger then him. Carmelo's post up game is superior to that of Lebron's. That's the real reason why Carmelo is a tougher guard.</div>I am not discrediting anything Kobe says, it's his opinion. But IMO I could see Bron being the toughest to guard because of the athleticism, height, and passing ability making him overall most unguardable and hard to stop for whole team, not just man to man for scoring. But for smaller defender I could easily see Melo being really tough to guard.

There thing is, no one could really know. Carmelo could be the toughest to guard just the way he plays. No reporters or fans can tell, only the players.

It is hard to know exactly who is the hardest to guard. There are many intangibles that factor in that. One is how is the spacing on the floor? Another is how good is the point guard? Finally how is the tempo of the game effect that players level of play?
