I'm surprised Lebron boosted his shooting up that much. Anyways I like Kobe's aggressiveness but I would hope that he can shoot better then a great baseball pct% ya dig. I know he's capable of doing that. I believe everybody remembers that string of 35 points and up spurt he went through a year and half ago without Shaq being in the lineup.

He'll eventually snap outta that Jason Kidd like shooting from the field. But man I wanted him to at least shoot 47% once in his career. MJ was shooting over 50% before Scottie came into the picture and I would think that's a realistic pct for somebody as great as Kobe.

I agree, Kobe is bothering me with his shooting. Its not his capability, its his selection of WHERE to shoot and WHEN. He needs to shoot more of the easy buckets, instead of taking the three, he could drive in a bit and pull back for an easy jumper more, or run a pick and roll.. or give and go... which we don't see too often anymore...

I think for Kobe's task it's pretty simple. If you shoot questionable field goal percentages, distribute the ball to your teammates, get them more involved offensively, and that way it can take off tremendous workload off his shoulders, and he can take time to roam around on the court without having to deal with all kinds of draining defenses that concentrate on him all night. When Kobe tries to do everything on his own, and overflows the boxscores with points and numerous shot attempts from the field, we lose. But if Kobe gets four other guys involved with double digit scoring, we win the ballgame. Stats don't lie.

^Agreed. Kobe needs more patience with his shooting. Quit forcing so many damn shots, wait for the right ones to come.

I think after all this criticism Kobe should, HOPEFULLY, start shooting better. I mean, if Ray Allen, Michael Redd, and other players can get above or close to 50% (Dwayne Wade...) then I KNOW Kobe is capable of it. He has the talent, for sure.
