Come on use some logic. Sonics can sign and trade him to the Lakers if he wants to play there, and get something in return.</div>

    Where's your logic?

Rashard Lewis doesn't owe anything to the Sonics, especially if they aren't willing to pay him what he wants.

Kobe Bryant has a NO TRADE CLAUSE. Right now Seattle is not on his list of teams to play for, and the Lakers do not want to trade him to anyone in the Western Conference.

I wasn't talking about landing Kobe to Sea town, someone like Odom or Bynum would be a great addition to their team. Rashard Lewis actually spent 7 seasons seasons there, I think he will ask for sing and trade once he finds the new team. I doubt that he will sing with another team and leave Seattle hanging on there. And the reports are that he also missed the FA window to apply to become one. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Report: Procedural Error May Cost Sonics' Lewis Free Agency</div>

A procedural error may cost the SuperSonics' Rashard Lewis an opportunity at free agency, according to a published report.

The New York Post, citing an unidentified attorney with knowledge of the contract language, reported on its website Tuesday that Lewis' agent, Tony Dutt, may have mishandled the paperwork that would have allowed his client to void the last two years of his current deal.

Citing the attorney, the report said that in order for Lewis to become a free agent, he had to declare his intentions in writing, delivering it personally or by registered mail on the later day of Seattle's last game or June 1, with a five-day window

Another I was thinking about trading for Vince Carter for Lee and Craw...than shipping him off to LA with Nate and Frey and 1st round pick in 2009 for Kobe and Radmanovich....I think it would be a great deal for both the knicks and LA la Land.

If LeBron James can get to the Finals with Drew Gooden, who's going to stop you from doing the same thing with Eddy Curry?

Honestly I doubt that would win us a title. It could possibly get the Magic out of the East though. You not being sold on Dwight is blasphemy in my mind. [IMG]

Honestly the more and more I think about it the more and more I'd rather just keep Shard and Darko and the rest of our team.

I think if the Magic do get Shard we will have to do a sign and trade, but we likely won't have to give up too much to get him. A future 1st and our expiring deals would probably be enough. If they could find a way to get rid of Earl Watson for someone with an expiring contract(Lakers and Kwame Brown?) they would have enough cap to go after someone like Gilbert Arenas the year after.
