I think it's funny how certain Kobe fans think that other teams are going to allow themselves to be gutted in order to get Kobe. Chicago wouldn't be able to beat the Detroits, the Miamis, and the Clevelands without Ben Wallace.Primetime's trade idea was a bit more sensible, but I doubt that Portland makes that trade. I say that partly because they said they only would for LeBron and partly because I think it would hurt them if they did trade it and whatever else for Kobe.edit: The important thing to note is that it is unlikely that any team is going to get better by trading for Kobe, which makes the deal incredibly hard. You pretty much have to trade down value-wise, or else Kobe will not approve the trade. He is not going to go to a team worse than the Lakers, which is what makes many of the trades I have seen laughable.

Teams saw LeBron take that team to the Finals, and well Kobe is the best player in the world, so East teams will give anything for Kobe.</div>You're forgetting how LeBron James put his team on his back and carried them to the Finals. James had to score 29 of his teams last 30 to take his team to the finals. The East's best teams like Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago.. They all have great defense. Kobe would struggle to score on those teams. You can say his God, or whatever but he can't do it all. Chicago's not stupid... They wont do this deal.
