    PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers have acquired defender Kosuke Kimura from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for allocation money and an international slot through the end of the year, it was announced today. Timbers general manager Gavin Wilkinson made the announcement.

    He was a mixed bag on the game vs the Galaxy. He clotheslined the attacker setting up a penalty kick to give the Galaxy a 3-1 lead. In the second half he gave the timbers a second goal to close the score 4-2.
