Great idea, gang. I wish I could go to show my appreciation to Pritchard, but my wife's in LA this week and I'm alone with the kiddos. I'll let you know if the chant is audible on TV.

I worry about during a timeout since there is so much other stuff going on.

I don't think the chant should be in ke-vin prit-chard clap clap clap vein. I think it takes away from what we did for Camby. I think a simple "KP! KP! KP! KP!" two syllable chant is workable. But I'll follow along to any chant that supports KP. And that's the point. It's the fans sending a message to PA that we want him to stay.

Whatever people prefer is good by me. I was hoping this thread would make for some ideas.. that the majority of us who wanna show our support KP, could use.

I guess I meant more during TO's when there are stupid birthday messages and burger king row announcements and red panda acrobats, and Parachutes falling to the sound of Tom Petty

By the 4th quarter there's usually a time out or two with just music. Start the chant near the end of the music.

    I respectfully disagree.

There's nothing cheap about a Blazers game ($8 beers, $6 ratdogs...) and KP > Marcus Camby in the bigger picture for the Blazers.

A show of support, especially a deafening chant that gets media coverage, is a great way to say "F-YOU" to Vulcan, Miller, and anyone else who wants to change course and fuck this team's future up all over again.

    How about "Keep-K-P! Keep-K-P!"?

I'm just throwing stuff out there. I think Pritchard has done a ton for this organization and not just on the court, but off the court as well with creating chemistry throughout the organization. He hasn't been perfect, but he's been closer to perfect than almost anyone else in the league. I think it would send one hell of a message to PA and the rest of the decision makers that the fans would like to keep him.

Pretty much every Blazers fan knows who KP is, don't be silly.

And chanting a player's name is so old hat I've done it personally dozens of times.

Chanting for a GM is unique, and carries a HUGE message/warning to Paul Allen not to fuck up this team yet again.

I thought I heard it with about 5 minutes to go in the 4th, but it got drowned out by a DE-FENSE chant... *sigh* Sorry, guys. I was right in front of two of the most annoying girls ever. They kept yelling "WHAT?" like Jersey Shore and "WOOOO! BLASSERSSS!" They'd pre-gamed a shit-ton before the game and were plastered. When you're too rowdy for Section 304, you're fucking drunk.

Anyway, they pretty much sucked the life out of my section; any chant would have died on launch.
