There are definitely way worse drafting GMs. I would think even in your team history you can find someone worse.

Pritchard made practically no trades or major signings (unti his last months with Camby) because he has no negotiating talent (with either Roy or other GMs, who just wound up hating him because his idea of negotiating is such hardball). So he had to put all his eggs into one basket, the draft. The irony is that he was a limited specialist, but wasn't especially good at his specialty.

Every draft, the Oregonian would fall down in praise at his stupid tiny trades of trading this year's 2nd round pick for one from next year, or his easy Allen-funded pick purchases. Message boards would follow their master newspaper and go gaga, with me the cynic.

    Pritchard sucked. Bring back Bob.

"Several reports" means Brian Berger being told by Steve Patterson, who has yet to find another NBA job after that incredible draft.

    Riigggghhhtt.

    Good
    Aldridge

    Bad

This cat is like Keyser Söze....... comes in , stirs shit up and then POOF......... he's gone. I am starting to think it is MIX, the way he cracks on me, he uses the exact terms. I'm not busting on WHAT he is saying, I'm busting on HOW he says it. I had the same problem with MIXEDUP, you can have negative views on my Blazers and the state of the franchise, but don't come on here swinging' and throwing around insults and calling people out. State you opinions and let's chat FAMS!

Take a look at Boob-no-more's post.

Still want to continue your little shtick of bashing the Blazers front office even when you're wrong?

question though who other than Rondo, and possibly Rudy Gay, are worth more now than the peak years we got from Roy? (serious question you may be right)

I guarantee this is not mixum. He used to be ODENISGOD. Mixum is Brock 100%. I will say his new moniker posts much better. Maybe people do change. I guess we'll see when the season starts.

One of the worst decisions Paul Allen ever made was getting rid of KP. So stupid.

At least we're lucky enough to have a KP disciple once again help running the organization. Team really took a step back when they hired Cho last year, the guy that has no plan other then to out-suck other people. He also thought Oberto and Marks were viable players. What a joke.

    Much happier with Chad.

If you don't take shots at other posters, I bet you'll see that your posts are much less likely to be erased :)

When you criticize Pritchard, it raises the blood pressure of the homers. To make a long story short, it's why I'm on this board.

Oh yeah ... well ... you trolling, troll type people aren't welcome around these parts. You're just jealous because he was so superior to your lapdog Whittsit-boy. So take that ... you.

I honestly think that would be a great debate.

Whitsitt was an ass, who built this team with knuckleheads, but a shit load of talent. He also seemed to have coaches that could get us out of the first round

KP was a great guy who really focused on not only talent, but also character. Our teams have not even been close though to the talent level of those early 2000 teams.

Let's just all agree, we've gotten fucked (as fans) by all of them. Hopefully the franchise will turn around starting this year.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't agree with that. I don't think either Whitsitt or Pritchard was a genius (and I hate cult of personality stuff like "In KP I trust" and "Pritchslap" though neither was coined by him, so I don't blame him for it), but I thought both were very good GMs for this franchise...I would have preferred neither one had been fired at the time.
