Maybe. Maybe if Miller started from the beginning, Blake wouldn't have been in at the moment against Houston where, after Blake got beat by Brooks, oden had to go up to try to block a shot, and blew out his knee. Who knows. Maybe Miller being integrated earlier gets us 4 more wins, and we don't face Phoenix in the first round. Again, who knows.
Maybe if Blake were gone, Bayless would have gotten more time and progressed farther by the time the playoffs rolled around. Maybe not having Miller split time with Blake, who is not even half as good as Miller is, would have resulted in even one more win. Maybe players not watching Blake eat a bag of dicks game after game for long stretches while they are being yanked after making a single mistake helps their confidence going into the post season. Bringing Blake back is going to bring back all the bullshit that goes along with him being one of Nate's guys. Better not to even give Nate the chance to fuck that up again.
It sure seems Mike Conley is likely available and not all that expensive, his shooting is good and he appears a past first PG with a lot more speed that Blake or Miller, why don't we give him a shot, the "Oden connection" is an added bonus
