I think Van Horn's 3 point stats are misleading. He turns down a lot of those shots to attack the rim and usually bad things happens when he does that. Some of the 3 point shots he turns down are wide open. That is the part that drives me crazy. Powell has the potential to be a physical beast. You couldn't say the same about Van Horn. You can't leave Powell or he will dunk it in your face and he also sets decent picks.
OMG...now your saying Powell is more of an offensive threat than KVH? A proven offensive threat? :no3: Dude, I know you love the young guys, so do I, and only hope they come out half as good as you believe they already are.But the is absolutely NO WAY that Powell is more of a threat, or more help than KVH.
No I didn't say he was a bigger threat but you can't just leave him either. He likes to go around the basket.

He doesn't use pump fakes, and goes straight up into defenses and gets blocked. The only time he's had a great dunk downlow is from a alley opp and those came in garbage time. And Van Horn has had some good dunks downlow for the Mavs, so I don't know what your saying that he doesn't do that. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think Van Horn's 3 point stats are misleading. The part that drives me crazy sometimes is when he misses those. Van Horn doesn't take contested 3's like your implying.
Yeah Van Horn is very selective on his 3 pointers. The opposite of Stackhouse but to the point where it seems like he is afraid of taking them. He doesn't play too smart either. He has a slow reaction on defense and seems to make a lot of errors.
