Bron's on fire... He gives a little eye candy, but doesn't join the dunk contest. Pfft. Let's go, Cavs...
Checking in near the end of the 1st Q, 24-22 Lakers. I noticed Ilgauskas has 2 fouls and Diop has 1, where these legit foul calls or are the refs giving Shaq some preferential treatment tonight? My key stat would be free throw shooting, so far Shaq has two "DOINKS" out of four. He can complain all he wants about not getting calls, but unless he starts making his damn free throws it really isn't helping the Lakers at all.
Lakers up 24/22 after one James has 11, 1, and 1 Boozer has 7, 4, and 2 Shaq has 6, 2, and 3 Payton has 12 and 1 assist
Another one of my "Keys to the Game" was limiting offensive rebounds for the Cavs and limit their second chance scoring, they already have 9 offensive boards. Box out damn it! Cavs are up by 1 now 37-36.
Lakers just went ona run, lead 42/37 Cavs have went cold and now put James back in. 3:14 left till the half
Lebron is slowly converting me, and he's providing the comedic relief as well with the Shaq impression lol. I love it.
Lakers up 46/41 @ the half James has 17, 1, and 2 Boozer has 14, 6, and 2 Shaq has 16, 5, and 5 Payton has 14 and 3 assists Key is, which supporting cast will step up? The moment of the first half was on back to back plays, Shaq dunked in the face of Carlos Boozer and on the next play McInnis threw up a long oop to James who dunked it very similar to Shaq's and than mimicked Shaq's famous strut and stare back up the court. It was a classic moment indeed. Lakers are shooting 59.5% to the Cavs 34.0 Lakers has 6 turnovers to the Cavs 3
Wow the Cavs look like they got way more shots than the Lakers. Otherwise, the lead should've been like 20 points man. The Cavs are lucking out. Lebron needs to get his teammates involved more.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting franchise3:</div><div class="quote_post">The Cavs are lucking out</div> Sure we were lucky in all our wins this season too.
The Cavs went on a 12-2 run to start the 3rd quarter and take the lead, but the Lakers have fought back to tie at 55. Disturbing Laker Stats ----------- Shaq 3-6 from the FT line Lakers are 6-11 as a team from the FT line Fisher only has 2 shot attempts Rick Fox is 1-7 shooting Slava & Fox have 3 PF's 11 offensive boards by the Cavs
Cavs up 69/65 after 3 Cavs lost a 10 point lead in the final minutes of the quarter with Shaq on the bench. James has 21, 3, and 4 Boozer has 20, 14, and 4 Shaq has 18, 7, and 5 Payton has 22, 2, and 4 Z has 10 and 7 Williams has 12, 2, and 1, that is the difference right there.
Silas i am waiting for lebron. To be in the game any minute now in the 4th quarter I hate ira newble are there anytakers for this guy i dont want him on this team especially playing over kedrick brown for no reason! Why do they keep giving the ball to eric williams and not lebron on the post. <font color="Red">Edit tab please - KJ</font>

We are headed to overtime with the game tied at 92 James airballed the what could have been the game winning shot.
Might as well Hack him, he's 9-20 from the line tonight. 11 "DOINKS" for Shaq, how many players actually shoot a higher FG% than FT% in the league? Lakers better hang on and win this game. A 4 point lead with 1:00 left. SCARY.
Awful. Horrible. Ridiculous. Ghastly. (Insert negative adjective here). Our execution in crunch time is non existent. We have no plays, we set no screens, we don't move without the ball. We get the offensive rebound, call a time out! That was a horrible coaching call by Silas. He had to realize we had no shot in OT with Diop and Z fouled out. Then Lebron waits til 4 seconds to initiate the offense from 30 feet away while being guarded by Payton? This team has no basketball common sense whatsoever. We totally let this one get away. P.S. Play Kedrick Brown for the love of God! Newble does not help this team...
We had this game and threw it away, that simple. No communication on that final play at all, we had James going left with Boozer coming for a pick at the same time 35 feet from the basket. That is the price you pay for being young. 111/106 Lakers win in OT James had 32, 4, and 4 Boozer had 25, 16, and 7 Shaq had 37, 12, and 6 Payton had 30, 3, and 6 Williams had 20, 3, and 2 Looks like I was right though, I feared Shaq would be too much, and he was. Great game though for national tv, the Cavaliers showed off their potential. Box Score
