The best the Nets can fetch for Irving is Westbrook and basically no prospect? I wouldn’t assume any picks the Lakers have would be worth a damn.

A black hole and a guy who refuses to play...sounds about right.

I mean the one that didn't play at ALL last year and then just got released by the Rockets four days ago.

You think they could have traded his contract? If not, how can you disagree with me that some contracts are untradeable?

Dame is not relevant to the general statement that "all contracts are tradeable". Because they're not, and John Wall just demonstrated that. Again... four days ago. It's not a big mystery.

I think they want to unload a bad contract on the Lakers, too... but it would still be a depressing day if I were a Nets fan and that trade happened. Haha

He had come off a career changing injury, pouted all year and sat out and if a team was going to trade for him they'd be trading for 40 million in a contract that is a much harder pill to swallow than Damian getting a big contract.

So, yeah, the unknown of Walls situation played a bigger role than his contract.

I hope it happens and the nets can't move Durant, just to see Durant being pissed at Westbrook again

    Was his contract tradeable?

    Yes or no.

The rest is just noise and excuses and you not admitting you were wrong.
