Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) Brian Shaw said the Lakers defensive goals are the following in this series. 1. Limit Orlando to maximum 8 three point field goals made per game 2. Defend Howard straight up with Bynum and DJ 3. Lakers will force Orlando to beat them from the perimeter
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) I've had a feeling DJ is going to get some burn. He is 6 fouls we can throw at Dwight. I don't want to see Gasol on Dwight. Bynum NEEDS to be effective.
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) My friend saw Kobe Bryant working out early at Irvine Spectrum going through his routine. He's ready to go! "We got this"
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) My friend talks to him at the gym occassionally. I've met him before, but nothing major.
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) I really don't see why they're bothering trying to get Jameer out there. I realize they were a better team with him, but it was really only marginal. They were only a few games better with him in the lineup. Plus, if they try to add him back in now, that could really screw up the great chemistry they've had going in the playoffs, and that's not something you really want to mess with this late in the game. I would say it'd probably be in their best interest to keep him shut down and get him back on the court next year.
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) According to ESPNEWS, Jameer will be activated tonight.
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) Man Jameer's already a distraction. He's playing, he's not playing, he's playing, he's not playing. Rafer Alston must have a headache by now figuring out his role tonight, I know I do.
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) Shouldn't affect the Lakers. Fisher doesn't play defense, so he doesn't have to game plan for either one. :]
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) I heard a funny one about Fisher the other day in regards to his play in the Denver series. "Fisher is the only player in this series who's played great for both teams."
Re: NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Magic (Series 0-0) I can't wait. Lakers better step up today. Wake up, show up, and play with effort. Phil better "coach" today, and I hope there are no more experimental lineups. It's the fucking Finals for crying out loud!!!
