When they had that Bill Russell and Dwight Howard conversation, Magic was talking about how Bill Russell could not only teach Howard about the defensive end, but how Russell could teach Dwight Howard stuff on the offensive end. There is nothing Bill Russell could teach Dwight Howard on the offensive end. Dwight Howard is a far more advanced offensive player than Bill Russell. Bill Russell had a career 47.1 TS%. Bill Russell has a worse career scoring efficiency than Ben Wallace. If you want to learn something about offense in basketball, Bill Russell is about the last person you'd want to teach you.
