Unless you're just lounging on a beach in Hawaii or some other tropical island. I don't mind humidity then. What I can't stand is wind.

I did research. A serious shell rot is supposed to make the area around it moist and soft. My turtle's shell is neither, there is just a part with white stuff (kinda like dried skin I guess) and the skin of the shell is kind of peeling off if you rub it hard enough. It's not serious. I'm supposed to bask it under the sun, clean the shell, and try to scrub the rotting part with a toothbrush. The coloring went down a bit but it's still there. It's not serious though so I am happy. Instead of giving him 4 pellets today, I gave him 5!
get a turtle Not the big ugly ones. Get the small ones, they're cute. When you hold them, they get scared and start kicking their legs and put their heads into their shells. I like to poke the head.
