I thought AI is going to Memphis.

Is Anthony Parker good? He signed with the Cavs, for the MLE I think.

Kind of a weird signing, he's old, and I think he's kinda redundant with Delonte West. Don't know much about his game though.

At his age, he's a good 6th man. He's a quality defensive player, as long as he doesn't have to guard the other team's best player every night (like he did with the Raptors). He has the ability to play spot minutes at point guard, and rebounds pretty well. He's been one of the more accurate 3 pt. shooters in the league, over the past 3 years. He was also really good at taking it to the basket in Israel, but he only showed flashes of that ability with the Raptors.

Taken from LG, The Cavs would've been better off signing Candace Parker.

And yeah, Memphis is interested at 1 year, $5 million. ESPN just said the Heat might be interested in offering Iverson multiple years.

Hm, interesting. I think the Cavs could've done better though with the MLE. But they probably couldn't get anyone to go there anyways.

I would love to see that sideshow down here, it would be funny and a waste of time for them.

    I'm worried about my mom.

Earlier in the year she had kidney problems in her left kidney. She got stones, they had to blast them.

About a month ago, she got a cyst in her wrist that needs to be surgically removed.

Yesterday she got a cortisone shot in her wrist for that cyst to deflate the swelling, and today she woke up with a pretty bad kidney infection in her right kidney. She is at the ER right now, making sure that it is just an infection and nothing else.

She's been 100% healthy her whole life up until this year. :[

They're unrelated problems, right? Skin level cysts are annoying, but treatable. My mom had a recurring one on her eyelid that eventually went away.

    Hope she gets better soon.

    Yeah, unrelated.

I was at the ER all night. Its just a massive kidney stone making its way through her system. (OUCH!) She's been drugged up all night, but my sister is bringing her home right now thank God.

The cyst is actually internal. It is weird. At first they thought carpel tunnel. Then they thought she tore a ligament or something. Everything should be good though. Thanks for the thoughts, guys!

Damn that sounds very painful. Glad to hear she's doing all right though.

Kidney stones scare me, I hope to God I never get one. :sigh:

My biggest fear of pain is actually a spinal tap. My uncle had one and said it's the single worst pain he's ever had in his life.

This guy calling the Angels game on FOX is a douche. He needs to learn his pitches.

In the top of the 4th, within 10 pitches, he has said, "Weaver delivers the breaking pitch."

Well, the problem? They have all been 91-94 MPH fastballs. What a douche. I hate idiots who can't figure out an obvious pitch.

BTW, I was shocked Weaver hit 94. He rarely does that.

    Angels win, again! 14-8.

    Weaver gets win #10. 10-3.

Brandon Wood hit a 2 run bomb! Get him every day playing time, Mike! He is ready for the big leagues!
