I just got myself a new phone yesterday. I'm loving it so far. Got the LG Tritan. Full touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard, full HTML browser, accelerometer for tilt control, it's awesome.
Haha, it happens. I'm not gonna lie, I am a geek when it comes to phones. When I'm able to upgrade, I have a tendency to blow my money on the "coolest" phone that's mostly affordable. It was between this and the HTC Touch Pro, and the HTC was just too big for my liking, plus about $200 more.
I want a crackberry, but I know I won't use it. That is cool though. I'm not big on phones. As long as it is somewhat cool, I can text and isn't from 2001, I'm good. I got the LG Dare right now. Its cool, it works. I think once I'm done with Verizon, I might switch over to ATT and get that iPhone. I heard the prices are ridiculous, though.
I just resigned my deal, so I'm wrapped up with US Cellular for another 2 years, which is fine by me. I have great service with them and the customer service with them is great. They let me sign a new deal and get contract price on a phone after 16 months (instead of 18 months, which is standard for them) without paying any buyout or early termination fees. My friend Chris resigned on his deal with them after the same amount of time but had to pay a $50 early termination fee, lol.
On a sidenote, I just reached 6 years at S2/JBB a few weeks back. Can't say I've ever stuck around any forum that long.
I know, it's crazy. Usually I get bored with a place pretty quick. That initially happened at JBB. I was there for a few months, went away for a while after that then came back and haven't really left since. I've had some random times away because of school, but that's about it.
