I went to see Staind and Shinedown last night and the show was AMAZING. Staind put on the best show I've seen them put on (and this was my 4th time seeing them), and they put on one of the best encores I've seen in a while too. After they left the stage for a couple minutes, Aaron Lewis was all the sitting on a chair in the middle of the audience with his acoustic guitar and played Outside and It's Been A While acoustically. There were numerous points during those two songs where you couldn't even hear Aaron Lewis over the crowd, it was quite incredible for a pretty tiny crowd (only about 3000 or so). Aaron Lewis was in quite a bit of awe, as you could see by the look on his face. After that, he went back on stage to join the rest of the band and closed off the night with Mudshuvel. Overall, amazing show. I expected Shinedown to be the best at the show (since they were absolutely incredible the 1st two times I saw them, and last night was no exception), but Staind was absolutely killer last night and showed why they were headlining.
Ex boxing champ Vernon Forrest was murdered in an attempted car jacking. Shot in the head. Damn.. R.I.P
