Why is that? I don't know much about him. @ an Angels' board I read, the thoughts of him are mixed. Can you give me some insight?
He's not great in the OF...he's streaky at the plate...he's going to demand too much money...and his power was probably a product of Boston's short porches.
Cause the other angle was harder to get a picture from without contorting her arm? Anyhow, looks like Moo was in CA this weekend.
Just got back from Miami. Went to the Dolphin-Pats game and sat in the Patriot section LOL. Wes Welker is amazing to watch live the TV doesn't do him any justice. I'm glad the Pats lost though and all the Southie Boston boys who were shit faced all game long were screaming for the team to dump Brady. South Beach Miami was overrated. It felt like a wanna be Las Vegas and there Jersey Shore guidos all over the place. Food in Miami and the weather were the two bright spots. The architecture is also very nice in some of the hotels.
Shape, now that you are back, I expect you to start coming to the Sunday games I coach over at Northwood. Also, I'll be headed back to Vegas in a little under 2wks.
I'll be going to San Fran for the holidays. Sorry buddy. Maybe after New Years I can come by and check it out.
Certainly. I'll be in Frisco in January lol, so I'll most likely miss you, but the Sunday league goes til February and pretty much all the games are played at Irvine High or Northwood.
Yeah that was a pretty funny football game. The Dolphins offense isn't that good, Belichick should have just kicked the field goal when it was fourth down in the red zone. Awww Guidos? Lol, damn that blows, I don't see too many when I chill at Miami beach. Hope you had fun at least.
Yanks are rumored to be getting Curtis Granderson...and I'm not sure how to feel about it. On one hand, I like him when he's hitting the ball, which he's more than capable of. On the other hand...I hate how streaky he is and how poor his plate discipline is. He also takes some poor routes to balls in the outfield and his arm is barely better than Damon's. However, he does give us a ton of speed at the top of the lineup, likely right behind Jeter. I just don't know how I feel about giving up on our best prospect in the organization in Austin Jackson, plus a solid pitching prospect in Kennedy.
Granderson won't be an impact player that is going to win you games. He'll put up numbers, but he won't be a game changer.
I disagree. For one, he's probably going to launch around 40hrs next year because of the park he's going to be in if you consider he hit 25 of his 30 homers to right field this past season. He's also got a ton of speed and could produce a ton of runs and stolen bases if he gets on base (though his OBP last year was only about .310). He also is an upgrade defensively over Damon and allows them to slide Cabrera out of CF to LF or RF, which will be helpful as well.
