So I have a rough draft of a paper due on Wednesday for my social problems class, and I have yet to start it. I have one source found out of 5, only because I had to find at least one for a brief overview on my topic due a couple weeks ago. I've known it's going to be due for well over two weeks now, yet I have not had any motivation to start it, and I still don't. Don't get me wrong, it will get done, but I don't to do it. Procrastination FTW!
Haha, same with me. I have to write a five page report for tomorrow and I'm yet to start. I'll start now that you reminded me.
I hate the retards at the gym who flex in front of the mirrors every time they do a work out. Angels' game :]
FUCK SCOT SHIELDS!!! UGH... Blew the game for the Angels. Our bullpen looks fucking horrible right now.
Haha, nice. Gotta love procrastination. As it is, I kind of finished my paper. Since it was only a rough draft, I didn't get it completely finished, but did get 4 pages, which is fine. I'm going to easily turn it in to a 6-8 page paper though, because there's plenty of more information I can plug in there, I was just on a strict time constraint because I didn't start it until this morning at about 10, so I only gave myself 3 hours to do it.
At least you're #2 pitcher isn't 0-2 and given up 15 ER in 4.2 IP this season. God I really want the Yankees to ship Wang to the minors right now to work on his mechanics and get his sinker ball sinking again. Than it gives Hughes or Kennedy a shot to see what they can do this year. They can't be any worse than Wang has been right now though.
Grand Slam...Ichiro... 11-3, Mariners... Hunter and Abreu have been the only things for the Angels this year. Weaver is on the line for the loss tonight, but he's looked alright his two starts. Abreu hasn't really hit for power yet, though. I want Ervin Santana back :[ Big John Lackey, too.
Abreu's power days are really behind him. Be happy if you get a 20 HR season out of him. If he can barely crack 20 playing in Yankee Stadium, than I can't imagine he can get 20+ in many other places. He will however, be an RBI and hit machine for you. Have fun with his defense though...and hope he doesn't have to play near the wall.
Jesus Christ, had i known you guys talked about baseball here, i woulda been dashing paragraghs. There's only 3 of us in that mariners forum .
Haha, feel free to talk baseball man, I love the sport. I just don't talk it on the MLB forums because I'd be talking to myself, and that's just no fun.
Yea...Garrett Anderson also won a HR contest...shows you don't have to be a power hitter to crush a BP fastball 400 feet. Put Ichiro in there and I'm sure he could give those power hitters a run for their money. Though, from my understanding...he regularly crushes balls in BP, he just chooses not swing for the fences in games, for whatever reason.
Haha, yeah I know about his defense but so far early into the season, it hasn't looked bad at all. He actually made a nice jumping catch at the wall the other day. :]
You guys are spanking us so far. It's disgusting. The Angels should turn it on in the next few games or so, though. I expect our offense to wake up rather soon. Abreu is a hitting and RBI machine so far, Kendrick looks good at the plate, Hunter is in the zone. Vladdy will come along, he had about 35 AB's in spring training I think. He's recovering from knee surgery. Juan Rivera is garbage. I don't know why they signed him. Kendry Morales has been a good hitter so far though, but hasn't hit for the power I expected out of him. Mike Napoli has been a beast. He needs to be our full time catcher. Jeff Mathis is good, but his bat is just average at best.
