he's not hurt(unless they just haven't said anything). he just isn't better than lowry. both are solid pgs. brooks is a better shooter but lowry is a better defender and i think a little better passer.
I thought they got rid of Rafer because of Brooks but yeah Lowry is much more efficient, albeit on a small sample size.
they got rid of rafer because they like both brooks and lowry. the national media kept talking about how trading for lowry was the signal that the rockets were giving up on the year, but the rockets gm said that he felt the rockets upgraded the pg position for trading rafer for lowry. lowry apparently rates very highly with the advanced stats the rockets use to evaluate players. from here on out now that lowry has had some time to adjust to the team, i'd expect the pg minutes to be distributed pretty evenly between the two. obviously if someone is having a huge game, they'd get more and in those cases they'll probably try to get them on the floor together some.
