That kid, the white one, from Denver...Kleiza...is deadly from three. Kobe draws the foul at the end of the quarter to get to the line. After one, Kobe's got 10 and 6 on 4/5 shooting. Lakers up 31-30.
Farmar nails the pull up, Lakers up by 7. God damn, I've missed this team. We're shooting 61.5%. Anthony misses the shot. Bynum misses the fallaway.
This team is playing well so far tonight. Something I haven't witnessed in the last month. Glad to see both Luke and Lamar back
Anybody else notice Kwame had a few choice words for Smush because Smush threw a lame ass entry pass? Kwame with the and 1!
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So we've regressed back to our old selves...down by 10.</div> don't worry its not over yet. Kobe needs to take over right now, they need to get a little run going into the 4th.
Just curious... is there some sort of flaw in the triangle offense that requires the team to totally collapse in 3rd quarters? It seems like every...single... game the lakers struggle in the 3rd quarter.
I'm done with the Lakers for now, maybe I'll be back at playoffs, for now I'm gonna go. This team doesn't deserve my support nor me wagering on them. Absolutely no heart at all. **** Phil Jackson and his retarded ass coaching, doesn't play Lamar, Luke at all in the 4th, and doesn't start Kobe in the 4th.
What was the point of playing them? We looked like crap out there. They need their rest, they're still very sluggish and not ready to play heavy minutes. I don't agree with all his decisions, but that one is smart. We can't exhaust them, especially when they're injuries are still tender. Luke looked great, but where did his three point shot go? Even before his injury, he started slacking there. The same can't be said for Lamar, Jesus...he played trashy ball outside of his rebounding. Does Kobe looked physically and mentally exhausted to anybody else? I think the injuries to the key players took a toll on him and it's been showing. BTW, Mo Evans is trash.

These guys play hard in practice everyday. Luke was ready to play against Dallas, but since it was a blow out, he just took the game off, and that was a few days ago. He's had plenty of days to get his rest and make sure he was ready to go. Don't confuse court rust (which Luke didn't have) with "exhausting himself or playing heavy minutes or whatever bull crap you just said. Lamar, you could maybe make the argument that we didn't want him playing heavy minutes, but like I said, they wouldn't come back unless they were definitely ready. Besides, it wasn't his legs that were bothering him, like it was Luke's case, it was his shoulder. Phil Jackson has always made these suspect moves. I appreciate him speaking up about Kobe and taking fines for the team, but as of right now, Phil isn't doing **** for us. If he was, we wouldn't have lost 13 of our last 16 games. Just completely disgusted as a fan and done for now. L8r
And if you don't think that a 15 point deficit against the Denver Nuggets was doable with Kobe, Lamar, Luke, Kwame, and Williams in 12 full minutes of action, then I don't know what to say to.
Lamar came back too early from his knee injury and he never got acquainted to the pace of the NBA game before going out with the shoulder injury. Going out for an extended period of time and then coming back is going to take some re-adjusting and getting some burn. I called 5-7 games, possibly 3-5 games before this team is back to what we want 100%. To think Lamar and Luke were 100% in game shape is kind of silly, at least to me. How long was Luke out? There's no way he was going to be 100%. He ran out of gas. Lamar ran out of gas quicker. I'm sure the altitude didn't help, either.

We had no momentum. Kobe looked physically defeated out there. He went 0-5 from three, when was the last time Kobe struggled to make a three pointer? Didn't the Nuggets get back into the game when we brought Kobe back into it in the second? He refused to play defense and that white guy...I can't think of his name right now. Nobody expected him to drop 29 on us, though. I don't think we would've been able to overcome 15 in the final quarter. Melo was getting to the basket at will against Lamar, the Nuggets were getting alley-oops fairly easy as well.
