Yep, nothing else to do except pray that other contenders don't get stronger.

That's a hot pic. Oden or Roy wouldn't look as hot if they were the ones doing that pose. lol

Damn, so it's true. Hope it really isn't anything serious.

I think so. Mitch already said that he's only keeping 13 players on the roster, so that pretty much means there ain't gonna be any FA signings. No trades are imminent cause I don't think he'll trade any of our expirings. The only news we could get would be a Kobe extension, which isn't all that sure yet. So, I think our off-season is over.

Our offseason ended pretty much after Odom re-signed. I think the only business the team needs to finalize is Kobe's extension, but I don't forsee anymore roster changes heading into the season.

Barring injury or an opportunity to improve their roster on the cheap I don't expect any changes.

What do you guys think of Tony Gaffney?

I honestly don't know what Josh Powell gives us on any night. I don't trust him at all I wouldn't mind seeing another athletic player like Gaffney get a roster spot over him.

I've come to realize JP is nothing more than a 3rd stringer, which is fine. But exactly why I was arguing for us to resign LO all along.

Not really sure about Gaffney to be honest. He hustles, but he's nearly 25 years old and doesn't seem to be able to contribute much. He mostly played during garbage time in the preseason anyways, I'd hang onto JP to be honest, if it's between the two.

I heard Gaffney might be waived anyway, but I just wonder why we can't have a better third stringer. There's literally nothing about JP that makes me say, "yeah that's cool".

JP isn't flashy, his playing style of kind of dull, but he gets the job done. He stepped up well for us last year when LO went down, and that's all I'm really asking for from a 3rd stringer.

Are you guys really debating a 3rd stringer?
