Yup, if he doesn't work out, it's only 1.5 per year, so that won't hurt us that much. If he does work out, he earned his next contract.

Both of you misread. It's 3 million PER YEAR. Not a steal by any means, but a good deal by Mitch and the Lakers.

That may be a little pricey, especially for someone coming off of an injury. But if Mihm returns to post injury form, it's still a decent deal. He's getting paid less than Brian Cook, I believe

I've never been in Peet's, but is it true that they have coffee that runs up to $70/lb? If so, that's INSANE. <div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">No, go to Starbucks. How do you know Starbuck's is better than Peet's if you've never been there? LMAO. Yes they have coffee that runs up to $70 per pound. I like their coffee better because it's a lot stronger than Starbucks.
He's definetly not worth more than half of the MLE. Like everyone else said, 1.5 mil would've been right.
<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I read in the Press-Enterprise that the contract is 2 years at 1.5 per, so 2 years/3 mill.</div> thats an incredible deal for us. A 7 footer at that price.
Well...There's gotta be a reason Chicago didn't sign him after the workouts he did. He's probably wasted now.
No, that doesn't mean crap. He was asking for the full MLE and nobody was going to give him that. His loyalty belonged to the Lakers and if he was going to accept a small deal, he would've done it with the Lakers...which he did. PHX stated they'd only offer him the vet minimum, as well. Chicago wasn't giving up the MLE, and the vet minimum wasn't enough. Mihm settled for 3 mill per. <div class="quote_poster">shapecity Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">How do you know Starbuck's is better than Peet's if you've never been there? LMAO. I read somewhere it was $2.5 million. Probably meaning $2.5 for the first year... and then $3.5 with an option on the 2nd year.
