This would be great for the Lakers if they could pick up an All Star calibur point guard. They are playing really good basketball right now with Smush Parker at the helm and Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown out. Saying this though Smush Parker isn't a very good point guard he takes a lot of bad shots and doesn't hand out enough assists. A point guard is exactly what the Lakers need if they want to have any chance at all of contending for a title, especially since they are in the West which is stacked with great guards.
