    Smush

I've heard on many Laker boards that Jackson plans on using Sasha to give Kobe a breather. Our rotation should look something like this:

    Smush/Shammond/Farmar
    Kobe/Sasha
    Vlad/Walton/Evans
    Lamar/Ronny
    Kwame/Mihm/Bynum

Really? My bad. I never heard about that, but I guess it makes sense. But anyways, shouldn't it be Profit that comes and gives Kobe a rest? I know he isn't signed, but I'm pretty sure he will make our roster. With that being said, I think we may see Sasha switch back to the point.

True or False Ronny Turiaf sees more playing time and becomes a consistent starter for some part of the season

False. No way Turiaf starts over Brown or Odom. He may get consistent minutes, but he surely won't start. And someone else can post the next one...

False, I can see them making maybe 1 or 2 more moves.

    T/F

The Staples Center will get some free tacos this season. [IMG] (Couldn't think of one).

I vote False, I don't think Radman is going to average more than 12 PPG for the Lakers. The offense we run limits the FGAs our players get.

Yes, we are definitely getting free tacos!

T/F - The Lakers made a mistake not signing Marcus Banks, who is now a Phoenix Sun?

False they were looking for a defensive pg to defend the quicker guards of the league ala earl boykins and steve nash and I think we have that in farmar plus mo evans adds to our defensive capabilities...

T or F the Lakers will go after Latrell Sprewell or someone who can give Kobe a breather now and then

False and I hope stays false. Sprewell is a psychotic maniac demanding too much money to keep his kids fed. Lakers can find better backup for Kobe that is cheaper, younger, and more durable.

T/F Will Cook's thumb surgery affect his shot?

T/F Kobe wins MVP next year (sorry if it was already posted)

True...if the Lakers have a 50 + wins i dont see why they wouldnt give Kobe the MVP.

True/False: Lakers will make the playoffs as 4th in the Pacific division
So the Pacific standings would look like this:

    1 Suns
    2 Kings
    3 Clippers
    4 Lakers
    5 Warriors

Very False. I expect them to go 2nd or 3rd. No way in 4th.

T/F The Lakers will have a better overall record than the Clippers.

False despite their upgrades the Lakers still fall short of the Clippers who are a proven solid team with more experience more depth and a solid leader in Sam I Am they should be close though...

T or F the Lakers win their "Battle for L.A." games against the Clippers?

False, I don't see him just coming out of nowhere and playing great D, I'm expecting good offense, not defense.

(Staying with Radman) It's been reported that Divac is going to teach Radman to improve his post-play, so T/F: Radman will come into the season with an added weapon.

No way does that happen. He never did anything in his career to merit a HOF berth.

And I'll go with False. I don't he'll have a legit post move at the beginning of the season, but maybe later on.

T/F: Lakers finish in the top 4 in the Western Conference.

I say possibly true. I doubt San Antonio or Pheonix will likely to play the same top notch ball next year. I'm still iffy about Sacramento since they have a new coach and possibly losing Bonzi. If Lakers play post season basketball, they can be in the top 3.

T/F: What Laker will have most injury problems this year?

Is that even a T or F question?... but to answer it I think Kobe and Chris will have the most injuries Chris is already coming off of an injury and now has to face the centers of the western conference and kobe well he does everything so despite his great conditioning his body is bound to take its toll thats why I think its important for Kupchak to get someone to back him up at the 2 even bring back Profit...

Alright T or F this year's Laker squad has better chemistry and runs more than the team we had last year?

True - The turning point of this team coming together will be the Game 7 collapse from last year's playoffs. Kobe surpressed his desire to take over the game and the team failed as a team sticking to the plan instead of Kobe trying to do it all by himself. I think getting back to the playoffs and tasting a near upset will motivate this team to train harder in the offseason and get deeper into the playoffs.

T/F - All 5 Laker starters will average 10+ points per game next year?
