I didn't understand why Artest was on the bench so long in the second half and why Bynum isn't on the court closing out games with the way Gasol is struggling. Artest was our best scoring option in the 1st quarter and didn't a better job on defensive rotations. Gasol missed a crucial free throw and had a pass go right through his hands. Normally that's a dunk and I have to believe Bynum catches that pass from Kobe and dunks it. Chris Paul was brilliant last night for the Hornets.
The Thunder are playing the best basketball in the West. I think Denver lost focus after the goal tending incident in Game 1 and imploded. This post season is being dominated by point guard play.
Nice call with 6 games, Shape. Fucking unbelievable. Why did we stop going to Artest down on the block after the 1st quarter? We might be the best, yet most idiotic team in the league.
Finally could watch a full match, in this one the team played how it should play. Let's close this now.
Please make sure you watch the next game. LOL. The Lakers finally played to their strength last night and completely dominated the paint. Shannon Brown was the spark off the bench for the Killer B's and the Lakers finally got a good game out Gasol & Bynum at the same time. I really liked the defense the Lakers played when they had Odom-Gasol-Bynum on the court at the same time. They shutdown all the gaps and clogged the lane forcing the Hornets to shoot from the perimeter with a hand in their face.
I was hoping Denver won last night to extend the Thunder another game or two. The Nuggets got jobbed twice in the series with the Perkins goal tend and Durant's backcourt violation that was over turned by the official who wasn't even near the play. The official who made the call initially was watching his feet the entire time. The Lakers need to close out the Hornets tonight and prepare for their 2nd round opponent.
