Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 1-0) I just exchanged my Kobe Voodoo doll for the Trevor Ariza edition...
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 1-0) I didn't catch much of the second, but like I said before, postseason, it's different than the regular season. I don't really know what happened though, he was fine in the first half... Hopefully it's just jitters. He'll get better the more he plays.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 1-0) I just hope Phil tells Fish to chill out, he caused a Utah 14-0 run almost by himself.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 1-0) Yeah the end of the first half was brutal. He played absolutely zero defense on D-Will, didn't even give any effort. Then fucking chucks up a heat check shot with the quarter winding down. What the fuck?
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) From LG: I noticed the exact same thing, the guy got butterfingers in the second half and couldn't catch a pass. I was surprised at how tired he looked, he's got to be worked back in slowly and Lamar was simply feeling it tonight. There's nothing wrong with limiting his minutes a bit more at first if this slump continues.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) Missed the game. I was at the Angels game. I forgot to tivo it, too :[ I'm going to the Angels' game Thursday, we better win again! Drew with 4 blocked shots :]
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) I do love Shannon but it seemed like down the stretch, Fish's familiarity with Deron made it hard for D-Will, who went 0-5 I believe. I haven't given up completely on Fish. :O
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) Deron went 0-5? Before I turned off the last 20 seconds, it was Boozer that choked down the stretch with stupid turnovers. Fisher didn't do jack shit to slow down Deron all game, while LA made their big pushes when Shannon Brown was in the game.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) Ok, I know Deron played great, he was lights out shooting mostly. Hey buddy calm down I didn't say he gets all the credit for that (Deron got tired plus cooled off, which also has nothing to do with D), and that he did a "better" job at the end, not a good job considering everything (I think Deron scored 21 of his 35 on Fish, that's not confirmed though). I don't think Shannon was doing much to affect D-Will either, our big runs were due to Shannon's O and lack of turnovers compared to Fish tonight, who was bad overall. :]
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) Drew is feeling pain in his right knee. He says he is about 95%, though.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) That's pretty scary to hear, to be honest. Bynum's contribution is needed further in the playoffs, especially in the defensive end.

Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) He's fine. I read it was being caused by his brace.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) The one thing I like about Luke, that I prefer over guys like Trevor and definitely Vladrad is that he recognizes miss matches and takes advantage of them. When a smaller guy is matched up with him, he is able to back them down in the paint and score. With Vladdy, you can have a 5 foot pg guarding him and he'd still throw up a jumper. Although I prefer Vladdy and Trevor (obviously) over Luke, Luke does have some offensive contributions if he is used right.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) I don't prefer Vlad over Luke anymore, I don't know if Vlad could have put a second half to his season like this.
Re: Lakers vs. Jazz Series Thread (Lakers up 2-0) Luke's passing and shooting improved so much, there's really no need for Vlad anymore thankfully.
