Lakers still have a chance...but if they lose game 4, they're screwed. and the pistons will take it in 5 or 6. but if the lakers decide to do the mirale again, they'll lose the 3-1 defecit and they're screwed...nooooo!
I dont think the Lakers will win this series I now think the Pistons will win it in 6,the Pistons should really be up 3-0 right now,but the Lakers arent playing good enough to beta the bistons three more times IMO,because the Pistons already proved that they can can stop Kobe and they even stopped Shaq.Defense wins championships.
I have been a Laker fan since they were in Minnesota. Win or loose I am a Laker fan true blue to the end. I was hoping Indiana would beat Detroit because of Detroit's defense and hustle. Larry Brown is one of the best coaches in the NBA and the Pistons are showing the Lakers they are the best team in the NBA. The Pistons have showed Jackson and the Lakers what it is to have a team that plays as a unit and that defense is the name of the game not scoring. Yes I want the Lakers to win the NBA finals but this won't happen unless they play as a team. Jackson needs to bench Payton and Malone and insert Walton and Rush into the lineup. If Malone was healthy for the rest of the finals, the Lakers would win without defense. Do I believe the Lakers will win the finals with just Kobe and Shaq? NOOOOOOO!!!! Kobe and Shaq don't make a team, it takes five playing together like the Pistons are now and have been all year. Payton need to wake up and play like the talent player he was before the Lakers and playoffs. I know that Jackson and the Lakers can still make this a hardwood war but it needs to start Sunday nite with 5 players not just two. For now the Pistons are playing as the better team, together as NBA champions. If the Lakers lose, no excuses should be made--Pistons was the better team.
Since everything is done and over with .. I'll say what I really think .. I think that the Lakers should have won .. But when they started losing games back to back .. The people who jumped on they bandwagon jumped off and started rooting for the other team .. Detroit .. I personally don't care about not one player on that team .. Except for Rasheed Wallace , who's my favorite basketball player , but I'm not about to say I wanted to Pistons to win .. Cause I didn't .. I think that the Lakers loss was cool , they can't win everything , even though they almost have , and next season they come back stronger and better .
