    The only way the Lakers trade Lamar is if he requests a trade back home to either NY or NJ. I could see that as a strong option by the deadline, especially if he's struggling a lot. It's fully understandable that he wants to be back home, back with his family, and have the option of seeing your son's gravesite whenever you want to go visit him. I would have no problem with Lamar requesting a trade, home, taking into consideration the circumstances.
