Murray is extremely talented and his peaking right now. I agree with @Shaboid. The games are everything a NBA fan wants. The refs are the group that fucks up the consistency, flow and rhythm of these games.

Also I keep seeing people, even the TV crews, talk about how young Denver is.

The average age of their starters is 26.4, while Portland's starting five is 26.8. Not exactly what I'd call a huge discrepancy. And if Nurk was playing instead of Kanter our average age would be 26.4. I'm no math expert but that seems pretty close to 26.4.

I have to say... the combo of losing the game last night paired with that shit episode really ruined my night.

    Here's what I think.....

    1) Dame has ALWAYS had a problem going up against guys with length; and especially those with length who can keep up with him. These guys can do that, and more. Craig is looking like the next great Defender in this league, and he uses his size very well, as does Murray and Harris (or was it Beasley....?). This is intimidating to Dame. Denver isn't OKC. They don't have a headcase leader, and they play as a team with multiple guys who can step up.

    This. Big time.

    2) Dame came into this series expecting it to be either easy, or consistent and fair with the calls.....and this series is neither of those things. He, as well as the rest of the team, needs to put their big boy pants on and stop worrying about the calls. Play the fucking game YOUR WAY. Don't play it to the expectations of what the refs may or may not do.

Dame had a brief problem with this against OKC, but then once he realized that he could use his skill to outplay Westbrick and Company, he stopped worrying about calls and started PLAYING the game HIS WAY. And you see the result.....he ended that series with the best game of his career.

The refs are doing us no favors, but playing this kind of style isn't doing the Blazers any favors either. They need to just fucking PLAY, and play their way. And if the calls don't happen, then that sucks, but it's a moving tank battle....not a nuclear war.

    There is the fucking spirit!
As soon as a bunch of goons start making threads about him falling short you are gonna see him take a game over.
Please someone with access show Damian Lillard this thread.
    Please!

I said before that we needed one of you fuckers to put on a Nuggets jersey and start heckling him... but did you do it? NO!

There's nothing that can or should be done about it though... Complaining about it is a waste of time. Gotta roll with the punches.

Even with their advantage, we still won a playoff game there.

We gotta win there again, and then win again the oxygen is rich.

    WE GOT THIS!!!

We wouldn't be tied 2-2 in the second round, let alone even be IN the playoffs without Dame, so why does a thread like this even exist.?

Seriously though exactly how much of an advantage is it at this point of the playoffs after a season on the road half the time? Both teams spent pretty much the same time as the other has in the same places over the last 8 days? The Nuggets were also traveling back and forth to San Antonio before this series?
I would like to see what the numbers are on that really?

Dame is averaging 42 minutes per game in the playoffs right now.

Dame is 4th in total minutes played behind Jokic, Gary Harris and Murray, but those guys have all played 2 extra games.

Maybe.... just maybe.... Dame is fucking tired?
