That doesn't have anything to do with having extra energy and conditioning. These guys play regularly at high altitude. I would bet money that they have significantly better conditioning than most of the rest of the league.
over at RealGM, a Moonbeam, a Blazer poster who is a math guru compiled the age comparison weighted by minutes, which is the most revealing comparison not skewed by players like Simons and Trent: "Denver's weighted average age in the regular season is 25.70, and 26.18 in the postseason. For Portland, it's 27.01 in the regular season and 27.36 in the playoffs." https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uxN-vXPPUjyYEQAzvu1dx1ohQVUJoCZGBQGaGI5x_jc/edit#gid=1820670949 a little more than a year on average. it's a gap but not a strikingly huge gap
We have one superstar. The Warriors have two HOF caliber players and two All-Star caliber players. We have Dame and CJ and a bench that performs.... sometimes. Dame is being asked to carry the load and teams can completely design their defense to focus on him. If the Nuggets try to stop Durant, who is pretty much unstoppable because of his size, length, and shooting ability, they can just pass to Curry or Klay.
The injury to nurk changed how Portland gets their buckets. Nothing is easy. No backdoor cuts. No slipping. Nothing. It's come down run p&r try and get to a spot and pull up. We're not playing a gambling defense in round 2. Like we did in round 1. Anytime Lillard plays out of the p&r they're doubling as well as putting defenders in the paint. Trying to turn him into a passive player. Anytime he's allowed to iso at the top. Even against their better defenders he gets a good shot. Denver won the 3rd quarter last night. Both teams have shown in these playoffs they can win on the road. These posters claiming the sky is falling or claiming that bones is a homer/argues with everyone are exhausting
Once it's fine. Spam it 10 times in a row in the game thread and you might be considered as it's newest member
And constantly singles me out even though I have him on ignore If he wants to be a part of the crew so bad, all he had to do was ask.
Last call for Dame? WTF is up with the stupidity of the thread name? Subscribe to the "drinks like a fish" bandwagon?
This is just false. Who on this list does Dame have a "problem going up against"? Chris Paul had been his "nemesis" and he's smaller than Dame... Also, he's hit game winners over the likes of: 6'9", 6'9" Wingspan Chandler Parsons 6'9", 7'3" Wingspan Brandon Ingram 6'6", 6'10" Wingspan Alonzo Gee 6'9", 6'11" Wingspan Paul George This is just off the top of my head...
I'd like to torpedo this thread and sink it. Dame is the otherworldly leader of this team, ffs, and the greatest Blazer of all time, all while being a 28 year old human. Give the guy a break.
Singles you out? ROTFLMAO! I think I might have responded to one of your posts today and have hardly ever read your posts anymore. You simply are not worth it but I find your post pretty funny since you claim to have me on ignore but also seem to be aware of what I post. Hey, I have a suggestion for you. Seeing as how you think you are all that in basketball why don't you compete in the elite level at the 3 on 3 tournament instead of playing side games against someone twice your age and about 6" shorter than you? Afraid you might actually have to play someone that is good?
