We've had the "invention" of the holding midfielder in recent memory that everyone has been talking about, and now after the incident with Petr Cech few weeks back, the latest is the protection of goalkeepers. Now I don't know if it just me, but I seem to remember many a pundit saying that 'keepers have too much protection, now following on from the horrific collision last week, we find that 'keepers apparently don't have enough protection. It was an accident, these things happen in a contact sport and all this fuss is perhaps a bit over the top.
Its fine as it is, just was very unlucky what happened, and stuff like this is always gonna happen. Hearing about keepers wearing those helmet things that amateur boxing makes me laugh
