I'll stop dreaming for that. Sign me up: NJ's pick alone would be worth giving up our garbage.

They are saying they absolutely won't trade williams so they are trying to beef up the team to keep him. they don't have a whole lot to offer; their 2012 1st, 2014 first, Farmar, and maybe Humphries but he has to approve and would lose his bird rights.

OOps sorry, see that Blaze already go this info out there.

OK, now i see that Blaze01 is really on the ball, he understands they have two 2012 picks and since they did pick late in the first round last year they can trade both? Now that is intriguing...

RT @MisterRudolph: League sources have told me Crawford hoping Blazers move him before deadline. desired destination is the Orlando Magic.

Don't undervalue our guys, Crawford is actually having one of his best years and Wallace could snap back if utilized properly. we are an ideal trading partner for them.

Honestly, I would be almost as excited for this trade as I would for a Batum+others for DWill deal, especially if we could then send Felton to LA for another #1.

I'd take Farmar and a pick for Crawford (or Wallace).

I completely understand the notion...but I honestly fear we would get a Sarver style owner for a replacement. Or better yet, Howard Schultz swoops in.

I have this nagging feeling that wishing away Paul Allen as our owner is actually a "be careful what you ask for" thing.

    --Get rid of Nate: check

    --Hire a damn GM: check

--Lose the wealthiest (? maybe one of the?) owner in sports? Gives me pause.

If this team were in shouting distance of contention again, we might not get stupid-giddy 'Trader Bob' SPAM deals...but having an owner willing to take some luxury tax sure as hell could make a difference.
